Job Description:

The Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for identifying, leading, evaluating and implementing LEAN/Six Sigma Methodology that will: sustain, optimize and constantly enhance supply and logistics capabilities.

This role will work cross functionally to develop and deploy new supply chain solutions that accommodate a dynamic business environment. Deliverables will improve processes, service levels, efficiency, inventory, space, quality and cost which will have a direct impact on our total customer experience. Direct supply chain functional support required as needed.


  • Leading and supporting initiatives that ensure the supply chain operates with industry best practices in the areas of Innovation, Efficiency, Customer Service/Service Level, Inventory Management and Quality.

  • Mobilizing effective project teams or activities; identifying key stakeholders and resources; communicating effectively across teams and groups; reprioritizing as necessary to address changes in the business and/or shifting needs.

  • Interpreting customer (internal/external) needs and requirements, turn concepts into practice, identifying process opportunities and quantifying results with data collection and visualization.

  • Enhance efficiency through deployment of lean methodologies, coaching and mentoring of team and associates, role modeling, building positive relationships and influencing others effectively.

  • Identifying, selecting and leading projects which optimize customer satisfaction (internal/external) and improve supply chain KPI's

  • Benchmarking practices and procedures with internal and external partners to ensure competitive and best-in-class processes and operations.

  • Ensure all SHE policies and procedures are enforced

  • Other projects, responsibilities and direct functional contributions as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Logistics and Distribution, related field, or equivalent experience

  • 5 or more years of progressive Supply Chain experience

  • Ability to participate in domestic and international travel (up to 10%)

  • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. Clearances are granted to US Citizens

Desired Skills and Abilities:


  • Familiarity with DOD purchasing and inventory logistics requirements including FAR, DFARS, ITAR, CMMC, and DCMA strong preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma and/or Continuous Improvement Experience

  • Advanced ERP user experience

  • MRP/MPS planning experience

  • S&OP process experience

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail

  • Project management experience
