Manage all aspects of firearm trades from beginning of the process through completion. File all firearm and ammunition FET claims. Handle all inventory discrepancies and firearm or ammunition returns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Log and maintain information on all gun trades in a database for tracking purposes
Support Sales Representatives in identifying Class III firearms in order to be in compliance with ATF regulations
Prepare, provide, and manage the necessary paperwork to Agencies for Class III trades so they in turn properly submit said paperwork to the ATF
Upon possession of trade firearms, determine the highest winning bid for re-sale
Notify winning bidder and verify a current FFL license is on file prior to shipment
Closely monitor bid expiration dates and send requests to Quotes Department for re-bid as necessary
Coordinate with Sales Representatives and/or Agencies for shipment updates and scheduling for trade pick-up
Support retail associates with any gun related shipments, trade receipts, firearm or ammunition questions or concerns
Research and identify eligible vendor firearm and ammunition invoices and file FET claims
Research and identify eligible customer firearm and ammunitions invoices for FET claims
Prepare Statement of Ultimate Vendor forms for firearm and ammunition sales
Verify TIB forms are on file for private college purchases of firearms and ammunition
Other duties as assigned
Direct report to Vice President of Administration
Establishes and maintains active direct support relationship with all level of retail store management
QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) to three (3) years of related experience
Required experience includes executive leadership interaction with weapons dealers
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to facilitate the flow of work for a process or procedure
Ability to identify problems, determine possible solutions and actively work to resolve issues
Ability to work with cross-functional teams from Sales Department, Returns, Retail, and Purchasing
Ability to accomplish tasks and processes accurately and completely
Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures
Ability to adhere to Company safety policies and procedures
Ability to present a clean, professional image
Able to keep work environment clean, presentable, and safe
Responsible for entering in daily time keeping requirements
Ability to pass criminal background check
Have a record of stability with employment history
Must have an 'owners not renters' mentality
