Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY


The Legal & Compliance Paralegal will be a key member of the team responsible for providing day-to-day support for Busch's in-house legal department in all facets of work. You are responsible for assisting in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents including contracts, managing legal claims against Busch, conduct legal research and maintain corporate documentation.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS






Identify, drive, develop and support various Legal Operations projects.







Assisting in the development, generation, implementation, maintenance and refinement of forms, processes and procedures with respect to the Company's legal function.







Review, draft, revise and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements using company precedent and templates.







Maintain up-to-date tracking of assigned legal matters, and related tasks and issues.







Assist in transactional matters, including the review and organization of documents and activities, such due diligence and closings.







Assist in process management of billing, tracking and reporting of outside counsel expenses.







Assist in relatively limited litigation management.







Support document collection and production, litigation discovery requests and subpoena responses, as well as issue and manage preservation notices.







Develop and maintain department resources and compliance guides.







Identify and implement improvements to current operations and workflows.







Maintain a variety of databases where legal information is stored.







Act as a resource and respond to information requests from internal business partners in Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and other departments, as needed.







Prepare presentation materials for meetings and employee legal education.







Generate general business correspondence, such as memos and letters.







Assist with insurance claims and certificates of insurance process.







Assist in company special projects and initiatives.







Align departmental goals and projects in support of company objectives
