Description/Job Summary

Lower Merion Counseling and Mobile Services (LMCMS) is an Integrated Community Wellness Center with locations in Bryn Mawrand Ardmore, PA. LMCMS provides an array of services including outpatient mental health and substance use treatment along with community-based services including peer support and recovery coaching.

LMCMS is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team that provides trauma-informed, person centered care using evidenced based and best practices to support a holistic approach to wellness. We are looking for dynamic and collaborative Fee-for-Service Therapists to join our team. We offer a flexible work schedule with day, evening and weekend hours available. Currently we have opportunities for both in person and telehealth services. A minimum of 15-20 hours is required.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Provide individual, group, and or family therapy to adults, children and/or adolescents that promotes wellness and fosters resiliency


• Use of Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) based on client needs and desires


• Willing to accept a caseload between 10 to 30 participants


• Complete timely documentation as required by RHD, licensing and county regulations in an Electronic Health Record (Avatar)


• Maintain compliance with all agency polices and procedures


• Must meet all funder requirement for competency, education and training


• Collaborate with other members of the clinical and mobile teams to promote an interdisciplinary approach to care

Required Experience

• Prior experience withthe Drugand Alcohol and or MH community and population is preferred


• Looking for someone who specifically has experience and knowledge of working with the IDD and ASD population.


• Experience working in an Outpatient setting


• Experience working in an electronic health record and/or computer hardware/software proficiency

Required Education

• A Master's degree in related field is required

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of evidence-based and best practices related to recovery and trauma-informed care including but not limited to:CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Specific Modalities such as PE, CBT-TR, EMDR or Seeking Safety


• LCSW/ LMFT/ LPC is prefered and ideal but not required
