Job Description:

Job Title:  Inventory Control Administrator

Department:  Inventory Quality Assurance – AMDC 740 Grade Lane

Days:  Monday – Friday              Hours:  7:00am - 3:30pm                 Hours per Week:  40


Work Environment: 

Dynamic office environment consisting of Administrative, and Management personnel. The group is very dependent on one another with day to day activities. Environment can be fast paced at times. Location of daily work can range from office duties at a computer to performing audits in warehouse environments including offsite storage facilities. 


Job Summary: 
 
This position is responsible for the reconciliation of aircraft parts located at UPS gateways, maintenance facilities, engine facilities, and repair vendors. These audits contribute to maintaining the high integrity of our current inventory. On-site training is conducted as needed.


Job Description:  

Job duties may consist of but are not limited to: Gateway audits, Tracking of inventory scanners, missing parts research, Inventory Tracking System research, PFM audits, Imbalance reports, Cycle Counting, repair vendor audits, Stock Status reports, adhoc reporting, help desk functions, assist in correcting discrepancies in inventory system, mis-matched vouchers, and various other auditing functions.
 

Required Skills:
 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment. 


Preferred Skills: 

  • Knowledge of MIPS, WMS, ARMS, AirVault, AMAP, Impacts, and other UPS Airlines specific applications is preferred.


Interpersonal Skills:  
Must be self-motivated and accountable to obtain quality results.  Must be able to work independently, able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and stay organized.  Must be a team player willing to help teammates manage through challenges.
