The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist plays an integral support role in managing, growing, and optimizing organic search across a range of search engines, web directories, and search-related opportunities to maximize revenue and organic placement for Caesars.com and Caesars real-money online gaming web sites (WSOP, Harrahs Casino, Caesars Casino & Sportsbook.) Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the person in this role will be an important part of the team responsible for organic and local search optimization growth.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Execute data-driven organic search tactics including but not limited to keyword research, content editing, internal/external linking, meta data optimization, schema markup, and other SEO best practices
• Analyze current performance to identify and develop new opportunities using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, and other SEO Tools
• Conduct SEO audits
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Maximize local search (business listings) exposure on search engines and directory sites
• Identify SEO opportunities with emerging technologies including, social media, mobile search, image & video search, universal search tactics, etc.
• Provide monthly reporting for SEO performance and conversions
• Research, analyze and report on competitor SEO strategies
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing best practices
• Other duties as needed
• Remote is a possibility for the right candidate

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• 1+ years experience in search engine optimization
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Yext, SEMRush, Ahrefs
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Positive, solutions-oriented personality
