Job Description:

Summary:

Strong business system analyst with P&C experience and experience in Agile set up.

Minimum Requirements:

• 4-6 Years of Professional Experience as Business Analyst with strong knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance industry.


• Experience with Guidewire policy administration system.


• Experience in analyzing and requirements gathering and writing system functional specifications including use cases.


• Functional knowledge of various modules of insurance like policy servicing, claims management, underwriting, reinsurance, ISO, lender placed policy, property and auto insurance.


• Strong understanding of project life cycle and SDLC methodologies including RUP, RAD, Waterfall and Agile.


• Expert in commercial Property and Casualty and Personal Lines Insurance experience with national carriers.


• Experience in developing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), System Requirement Specifications (SRS), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Unified Modeling Language (UML) Diagrams.


• Knowledge in the ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) of data into a data warehouse/date mart and Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Business Objects Modules.


• Experience working with Stakeholders, PMO team members. Updating them with weekly reports and conducting JAD sessions.


• Experienced in Business and Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Migration, Data Integration and Meta-data Management Services.


• Strong background with Jira and Confluence.


• Experienced in conducting User Acceptance Testing and coordinating with the UAT participants to gather the requirements.


• Experience in UML (class diagrams, object diagrams, GAP Analysis, use case diagrams, state diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and collaboration diagrams) as a business analysis methodology for application functionality designs using IBM’s Rational Rose.


• Proven success as a business analyst through the years, providing a well-balanced understanding of business relationships, business requirements, and technical solutions.


• Experience in business analysis, operations management and development, design, documentation and testing.


• Exposure to Client/Server, Web Application developmental tools and Software development and design.
