Position Overview




Duties:



Use knowledge of nonparametric statistics to conduct complex statistical-based research and data mining to analyze consumer reporting performance and POS data coverage. Develop linear/logistic regression and time series models to analyze data. Conduct advanced statistical programming in SAS, SPSS, Python, R, and SQL. Manage development of propensity models and provide guidance to Global teams on propensity model development. Manage quality check reports to ensure accuracy of data delivered to clients. Oversee methodological development for longitudinal/behavioral analyses (e.g. Subscription Video Track and Games Engagement Tracker). Lead assessment of correlations between Point of Sale (POS) and web-scraped data. Assess enhancements and promote consistency in the implementation of designed enhancements across different businesses. Mentor a junior data scientist.



Requirements:



Master's degree in Statistics and two years of experience in position offered or as Data Scientist, Specialist. All required experience must have included using knowledge of nonparametric statistics to conduct statistical-based research and data mining to analyze consumer reporting performance and POS data coverage; developing linear/logistic regression and time series models to analyze data; and conducting statistical programming in SAS, SPSS, Python, R, and SQL.
