Hilton's Commercial Services organization is comprised of over 4,000 team members driving our sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are key to Hilton's ability to drive profitable growth.

What will I be doing:

The Director will have overall responsibility for leading marketing efforts for Las Vegas and will serve as the main entry point into the Marketing organization for the VP/Commercial Director. Crucial to this role is defining the destination marketing strategy - both paid and owned - to drive the commercial performance for our Las Vegas hotels and support Hilton's continued success in the market.

This role will partner closely across the organization, delivering results with a coordinated and aligned approach with Brand Marketing, Destination Marketing, Media, Honors, Operations, Revenue Management, Sales, and Commercial teams.

More specifically, you will:


  • Hone overall competitive positioning and marketing objectives for Las Vegas, including target audience, segmentation, and high-level messaging.
  • Conduct joint planning with Commercial and Marketing teams (Brand, Destination, Honors, etc.) to ensure tight integration using a common understanding of market trends and insights.
  • Drive awareness across the Marketing organization to destination and hotel business needs.
  • Develop tailored tactical paid marketing plans for the Las Vegas destination, determining channels and partners to help Hilton reach our overall marketing objectives.
  • Cultivate and use key in-market relationships, partnerships, and resources.
  • Coordinate internally to elevate Las Vegas across Hilton-owned channels (email, social, web) at appropriate points in the customer journey.
  • Ensure alignment between enterprise, destination, and hotel marketing activity, guiding hotels to optimize efforts.
  • Measure and optimize the impact of marketing efforts on channel performance and RPI, reporting out to key internal and external partners.
  • Support presentations to internal and external partners (management companies and owners) regarding Hilton's marketing for Las Vegas.
  • Steer new marketing capabilities (content development, website improvements, etc.) and communicate achievements/opportunities.
  • Engage and support a results-oriented and agile team culture.

  • Can proactively identify business opportunities and prioritize multiple projects to achieve business results
  • Can successfully lead and collaborate in a matrixed team environment

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of related experience
  • Five (5) years strategic digital marketing experience
  • Five (5) years analyzing data, developing insights, and communicating findings
  • Travel as the need arises (up to 30%)

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Seven (7) years strategic digital marketing experience
  • Seven (7) years analyzing data, developing insights, and communicating findings
  • People Management Experience
  • Previous experience with the Las Vegas market or integrated resorts (casino, entertainment, convention facilities, retail, and dining) highly preferred

*This position will be Remote, except for within the state of Colorado.
