<p>PEC's Kansas City office is growing fast and looking for experienced qualified candidates to assist in providing our high standard of customer service to existing clients and assist in fostering new relationships in the healthcare and industrial market sectors.  PEC offers a flexible work environment, great team atmosphere and an excellent benefits package.</p> <p>PEC is active in the following market sectors:<br /> Educational, Commercial, Industrial, Health Care, Government, Manufacturing, Retirement Communities and Military.</p> <p>Mechanical Engineers at PEC must be technically competent in the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system design</li> <li>Code Analysis</li> <li>Computerized analysis of heating and cooling loads</li> <li>Indoor air quality</li> <li>Plumbing design</li> <li>Temperature control</li> <li>Infrastructure including central steam and chilled water system design</li> <li>Energy analysis using computer modeling and comparison of life cycle cost.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Position Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Client meetings.</li> <li>Mentoring of design and drafting staff.</li> <li>Project development and project management.</li> <li>Coordination of staffing needs for projects.</li> <li>Candidate will design and engineer HVAC and plumbing systems.</li> <li>Candidate will be responsible for production of construction documents and construction administration for projects.</li> <li>Evaluation of mechanical systems.</li> <li>Report preparation and presentation to clients.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Skills: </strong></p> <ul> <li>B.S.
