Role: QA Engineer

Work location: Mountain View - CA 

Experience required:  3-10 yrs

The Engineering Productivity team for the AR product area support hundreds of Googlers working on ARCore, Glasses, GeoAR, Cardboard and more and team charter includes:

• Development tools and infrastructure to empower/enable quality signals.


• End-to-end testing infrastructure development.


• Power & performance infrastructure, such as on-device power and latency measurements.


• Release activities - establish testing processes, including manual QA and automated checks


• Metrics, dashboards, and status updates.


• Documentation, examples, and codelabs for all of the above.

Skills

• Able to set up test devices, execute test and troubleshoot failures.


• Perform data analysis and compile test summary report.


• Experience with Test management and Bug management processes.


• Should have knowledge of Android OS (device level testing), ADB commands, Android API’s, Java, Python.


• Experience with power and performance such as measure GPU/CPU, FPS, battery/thermal on mobile, latency.
