An exquisite opportunity awaits for an experienced Assistant Nursing VP Patient Safety and Regulatory Compliance area. An award-winning hospital is searching to add a Nurse Director to join their highly professional health care team.

The Assistant Nursing VP Patient Safety and Regulatory Compliance will be joining a hard-working patient care services department who have worked tirelessly to maintain their honorable reputation not just in the state of MA, but across the country.


This Director is responsible for the organization’s proactive risk mitigation (FEMA’s) and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) processes. This individual ensures that these processes are standardized, appropriately delegated and completed. This position is responsible for ensuring that event identified performance improvement opportunities are fully implemented and that there exists a valid and reliable measure of success process. The Director is also responsible for developing and encouraging a proactive risk mitigation culture that is data driven, promoted adverse event zero tolerance and supports the basic tenets of a highly reliable organization. As delegated by the VP Quality/CQO the Director interfaces with the organization’s insurance company to identify trends for future process improvement and risk mitigation.


Qualifications for this role include  BS in Nursing (MA License), Masters degree in healthcare related field strongly preferred, ten years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care hospital setting, minimum three years experience in health care quality and safety, and Risk Management experience strongly preferred.
