As part of the People Operations Team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist’s primary responsibility is to source, screen, and refer candidates that embrace our core values and excel at what they do. The primary focus of this role will be acquiring talent for our non-exempt level opportunities; guiding candidates and hiring teams through the hiring process. This individual manages the recruiting process from generating a pipeline of candidates through negotiating employment offers.


Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate with hiring manager(s) to determine staffing needs and best recruiting process for position(s)

  • Leverage knowledge of our business needs and search requirements to effectively match candidates with roles

  • Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview process and offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations and closing of candidates

  • Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Communicate effectively with the interview team to ensure preparedness throughout the interview process. Share and exchange information with all levels of the organization

  • Screen and interview applicants, administer assessment and coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.

  • Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, employee referral programs, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates

  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process

  • Coordinate appropriate employment testing, background checks, and new-hire drug testing

  • Successfully negotiate, prepare, and deliver verbal and written employment offers

  • Complete weekly metrics on recruiting activity, focusing on both lead and lag measures

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws throughout the recruiting process

  • Other duties to support the People Operations function as agreed upon with your manager

  • College recruiting 

  • Will be part of projects for the POps team

  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:



  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • At least two years of full cycle recruiting experience

  • Experience with high volume recruiting hiring multiple positions

  • Experience working with an ATS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred:



  • Agency recruiting experience
