Maintenance Technician

Specialty Chemical Services provides solutions for composite materials and processing additives for technically demanding industries, such as electronics, transportation and aerospace. We also provide performance intermediates & chemicals for many industrial applications, such as agro intermediates, food & feed ingredients, cosmetics, non-current good manufacturing practices (non-cGMP) intermediates, and custom development & manufacturing.
LSI is growing in leaps and bounds and we are the premier chemical manufacturer in the Atlanta Metro Area, located just minutes off of I-285. As a Maintenance Technician for LSI, you will provide maintenance and utility support for 4 manufacturing plants located on one large manufacturing site.
Key responsibilities:
Performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment and systems according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
Responsible for the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC and plumbing systems.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Inspection of equipment, structures or materials to troubleshoot, identify and correct causes of failure.
Calibrates and repairs pressure, level, flow and temperature instrumentation
Perform work on various subordinate systems (Elevator, Lighting, Control Air, Boiler, ETC)
Key requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred area of study: Technical College or Journeyman/USMAPS Programs
Previous experience in a manufacturing plant, chemical preferred
Previous maintenance experience; USAF or USN Technical/Engineering MOS/Rating accepted
