Overview:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience:Minimum of one year work experience in a public contact job, preferably service related and in a health care environment.


• 
  Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.


• 
  Preferred Education:Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.


• 
  Certifications:CMA, RMA, CCMA or other recognized medical assistant credential, BLS certification


• 
  Other:experience working in an EHR system.
