Manufacturing/Production Associate at Sonoco Products Company in Tullahoma, Tennessee

Job Description:

Sonoco is hiring for multiple positions within our Tullahoma, TN facility. You may apply for all of these positions through this one application and be considered for our current openings.

Mold Setter

What You'll Be Doing:

• Monitors cycle times and adjusts as needed.


• Maintain accuracy of processes during production. Modify processes as required for product orders. Correct errors and work with operators to constantly improve process clarification and effectiveness.


• Conducting mechanical tasks such as process monitoring, sampling and testing, preparing and isolating equipment for maintenance


• Provide technical support to shift for trouble shooting and problem resolution. Ensure equipment and processes meet and sustain standard production outputs


• Monitors operations process, work, and material flow to ensure quality and customer specs are met.

Packer/Inspector

What You'll be doing:

• Cleaning designated plant areas as assigned



• Performing and documenting routine inspection



• Removes finished parts; visually inspects to assure quality;


• Assemble, pack, close and stack boxes.


• Pack boxes according to instructions.


• Label boxes.


• Moves parts to designated area.

Maintenance

What You'll Be Doing:

• Installing and maintaining auxiliary equipment as required by production




• Maintaining and repairing utility and facility-related equipment as directed by the Plant Engineer.




• Assisting/trainingother maintenance personnel with repairs, PM's, and rebuilds.

• Collaborating closely with other departments and teamsfor proactive problem resolutions.




• Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.




• Manage small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.




• Performing all duties in support of Sonoco's quality and safety policies.
