Imaging and PACS Administrator Sr at Cottage Health in Goleta, California

Job Description:

Cottage Health is currently looking for a PACS Administrator to support Cardiology and Radiology Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) across the enterprise. This position will also support multiple cardiology and radiology applications across the organization. Analyzes, configures, develops, tests, implements, supports, and maintains a full portfolio of imaging-related applications. Acts as a liaison between IT and cardiology and radiology departments and frequent interactions with cardiologists, radiologists, and technologists.

Ability and willingness to take on new tasks and application-related responsibilities.

Proactively monitor and maintain applications and assess workflows and systems inefficiencies before they become end-user issues. Ability to analyses complex issues and determine and suggest alternative methods and solutions. In-depth understanding of policies, procedures, and business and clinical operations of cardiology and radiology departments

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in nursing, information technology, allied health professions, business or a related field. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in imaging applications and systems in health care, or a combination of education and experience, may be substituted for a degree

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification, Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) or Certified PACS System Analyst (CPSA), Certified PACS Interface Analyst (CPIA)

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Merge Cardiology PACS, Merge DR Unity PACS, Epiphany ECG, Natus EEG, Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), Epic Radiant, Epic Cupid.

Working knowledge of DICOM, TCP/IP, HL7, FHIR

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferred: 5 years of general system, infrastructure, software and 6 years of dedicated imaging application and technical support
