Job Description:

Overhead Door Company of Atlanta, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is looking to hire an entry-level Project Estimator/Detailer for our Entry Door Systems group! This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented individual to learn our project Detailing process from the ground up. Job Responsibilities:

• Reading and analyzing blueprints.


• Accurately determine the best product and cost to complete a project.


• Support sales/operations pre/post project award.


• Other responsibilities as assigned.


• Become familiar with DH Pace estimating processes and procedures and become proficient at utilizing DH Pace estimating software as well as other business software programs.


• Become familiar with products, understanding functionality, special features, usage options and special features as well as pricing variance based on specified job needs.


• Prepare work to be estimated based on the process established for the business unit which could include but not limited to receiving blueprints, invitations to bid, photos, or scope of work to begin preparations for estimating costs for materials, labor, and time requirement needed to complete the project.


• Estimate materials that meet specifications, construction schedules and construction requirements and complete the estimating accurately and timely meeting bid deadline.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.


• Experience reading and analyzing blueprints a plus.


• Must possess good organizational, computer, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
