Responsible for providing and developing solutions on quality repair, preventive maintenance service and complete installation and relocation start-up service of complex electromechanical and electronic systems at customer sites.
Perform autonomously when analyzing and solving problems, covers a broad range of Lam products to the component level.
Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
May co-ordinate work of assigned engineers and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service received.
Develop solutions and provide expertise to solve complex technical engineering problems.
Ensure problem statements and success criteria are correctly defined and communicated.
Ensure appropriate prioritization and resources are applied to escalations.
Coordinate and lead required experiments/ tests and generate reports.

Leadership
Provide technical instruction and leadership on installs, repairs, operations and calibrations.
Provide on-site instruction to sub-contractors and customers
Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and resources.
Own site/ customer KPIs (CRC, safety, IBPI, etc.) and drives improvements to meet agreed objectives.
Customer Relations
Professionally represent the company to the customer. Be committed to customer satisfaction and develop good customer relations by maintaining standards of conduct acceptable to both Lam and customers.
Interface directly with high level customer management.
Own and drives both regular and ad hoc customer meetings (executive and technical)
Owns Customer Trust KPIs.
May own spares, labor & upgrades MS & delivering committed revenue from site/customer.
Define/develop customer specific support plan and ensures required resources are available, competent and motivated
Minimum Qualifications
BS degree in electronics, engineering or other applicable field of study and a minimum of 12 years of work experience or Associates degree with +14 years of relevant experience.
Previous experience in installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment adhering to company procedures.
Work in constrictive clean room environment, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment.
Able to work rapidly for prolonged periods of time, including bending, stooping, reaching, walking, sitting and standing in one location.
Understand and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
Ability to interpret operation manuals to determine root cause of tool failures.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
Work independently, cooperatively in a team or with customers completing assignments with minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.
Adhere to customer rules and policies regarding worksite behavior and safety.
Able to travel frequently
