CDL A Truck Driver at Arcosa Inc in Cement, Oklahoma

Job Description:

Arcosa Specialty Materials is searching for a CDL A Truck Driver for our Cyril, OK plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture within an aggregates production environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will operate a tractor trailer combination hauling gypsum rock to local customers.

Arcosa Specialty Materials is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of lightweight and natural aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.

What you'll do:
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Perform tasks assigned in a safe and effective manner
• Perform pre and post trip reports
• Perform routine truck maintenance (greasing & changing tires)
• Maintain records of shipments and deliveries
• Follow all safety rules and practices and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Maintain a clean truck
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

What you'll need:
• Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up
to 60 pounds.
• The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Class A driver’s license in good standing
• Current medical card
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required
• Excellent work ethic, positive attitude
• A minimum of 1 year of experience.
