The Opportunity:

As a Solutions Consultant/Data Scientist you will be a core member of the sales team, working together to identify and develop revenue opportunities within the OpenText Customer and Prospect base. This will involve analyzing complex customer requirements and providing a compelling and unique OpenText Analytics and AI value proposition.You will help the customer realize the value proposition of OpenText Analytics and AI products and solutions by building out customized demonstrations and presentations.

You are Great at:

• Working directly with Account Executives in the field to communicate the value propositions to the customer/prospects.


• Applying both technical and business skills to solve problems within an account and subsequently architecting an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer's business requirements.


• Presenting to senior-level business and technical users within a customer account.


• Technically qualifying opportunities at key milestones, taking into consideration the competitive landscape, solution fit, relationship with the customer, etc.


• Develops and delivers product demonstrations and proof of concepts against specific customer requirements.


• Responds to RFx requests, taking the lead for the solution and technical elements of the response.

What it Takes:

• Bachelor's Degree


• 3+ years relevant work experience


• Strong database (Oracle, SQL-Server, Hive, MongoDB) background with SQL and NoSQL experience.


• Web development tools & object-oriented technology such as; J2EE, Java, Javascript, JDBC, and DHTML.


• Working knowledge of Cloud computing strategies, business models, and issues.


• Python (pandas, scikit-learn, Mlib)


• R, SQL, statistical analysis


• Machine learning (Linear/Logistic Regression


• Decision Trees, Random Forest, SVM, Clustering)


• Optimization modeling


• Data visualization tools, Tableau, Spark, Salesforce
