Position Summary: The Material Support Coordinator is primarily responsible for keeping the order management and material to assure smooth production operations. Responsibilities include establishing Kanban setting, Production Order Management, Production order picking, managing material shortages, cycle counting, and general material flow into and out of the department.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assure parts availability to meet the production schedule


• Cycle Counts Compliance


• DFT (Demand Flow Technology) Compliance


• Work with operations to set daily sequence schedule and manage material flow to assure uninterrupted production


• Root Cause for all material discrepancies


• Kanban sizing


• E-Kanban operation


• Material Placement and Material Flow


• Inventory accuracy


• Scrap Tracking/Root Cause


• Compliance Audits of other areas


• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Position Qualifications

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Self-motivated and demonstrate a positive attitude


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel


• Ability to work with and through others


• Working knowledge of main frame system and reports


• Good oral and written communication skills


• Good computer skills

Preferred:

• SAP or other ERP software experience


• Experience with Inventory Counting


• Kanban Experience


• Forklift experience


• Experience working in a Warehouse environment.
