As a member of the project team, the Workday Analytics Architect manages project resources responsible for ensuring timely execution of ongoing client deliverables and consulting with clients on services. Develops solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains or clients. May have project management accountability, leads implementations and complex projects, leads the requirements process, and participates in client sales meetings as Subject Matter Expert/Advisor.
As a Workday Analytics Architect, a typical day toinclude the following:
- Manages multiple clients, and develops solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains.
- Provides a proactive interface between the external clients and the internal staff to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday projects.
- Responsible for leading one or more areas of a large project and/or multiple concurrent projects potentially over longer periods of duration.
- Responsible for managing all stages of the project for the client, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment.
Knowledge and Expertise of:
- 7 to 10 years relevant analytics work experience required
- 3 to 5 years of reporting experience required
- 3 to 5 years of Workday experience preferred
- 2 years of PRISM, People Analytics, and/or Adaptive certifications preferred
- Previous consulting experience preferred either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization
- Experience defining global business and systems strategy, developing system requirements and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
- Experience in SQL, XML, database administration, etc preferred
- Proven consultative skills to guide client and internal discussions to agreement of solutions
- Strong communication skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
- Demonstrated advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Travel up to 10%
- This role does not support sponsorship
- Workday certification as well as on-going successful re-certification is a requirement of the role
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technical, business, analytics, or financial discipline
