Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

We are looking for a senior software engineer to support SW development and handle customer escalations. The candidate will be required to involve in Software development lifecycle process. The candidate should have strong problem solving skills to analyze, troubleshoot and provide fixes for customer escalations. Other responsibilities for this position include interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams in the US and overseas, analyzing escalated issues, and bugfixes.

Technical Skills Required:


  • Take ownership of Software Escalations - Analyze, troubleshoot and provide fixes.

  • Knowledge in STL.

  • Knowledge in Windows Debugging tools - WinDBG, Remote Debugger.

  • Be able to conduct software development activities using MFC C++, Managed C++ and C# .NET in Windows 64-bit environment.

  • Hands-on experience on C#/C++ programming including multi-threading on Windows platform.

  • GUI development in MFC, Windows Forms and WPF/XAML.

  • Design experience with OOP/OOD methodology.

  • Participate in software development including deployment/trouble shooting customer issues.

  • Work in a global environment to Interact with multi-site team members during software product life cycle.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 8 years of experience. OR Master's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.

  • 5+ years of software development using high-level programming languages such as C++, C# and .Net Framework
