Project Engineer at EnSafe in Irving, Texas

Job Description:

We are EnSafe, an employee-owned, global environmental consulting and engineering firm. We strive to provide cutting-edge, creative solutions for our clients. We are seeking to add an Engineering Design Lead to our Dallas, Texas office.

If you are the successful candidate for this posting, you will be responsible for leading the engineering and construction efforts for: site civil, storm water drainage, and utilities design and construction. Your work may include site grading and drainage design, construction oversight - including schedule and contractor coordination, solid waste/landfill permitting and design, and wastewater treatment plant design. You will be coordinating technical aspects of the work, including working across multi-discipline teams for problem solving; acting as a mentor to junior level staff and providing direction to design teams; participating in and coordinating various design and construction meetings with clients and subcontractors (this will also include pre-bid meetings); and planning, scheduling, and conducting detailed phases of design work. EnSafe is a sell/manage/do organization, so your duties will also include marketing/sales support, project and practice management, and client project involvement where appropriate.

The qualifications required to help you succeed in this position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering


• A minimum of 2 years of civil design experience and/or construction management experience, preferably with an Engineering firm


• EIT Required, PE license preferred


• Previous experience with construction management with commercial and industrial clients


• Critical thinking and problem solving skills


• Strong work ethic


• Attention to detail


• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment


• Group management, and mentoring


• Regional travel required, national travel for client meetings likely
