Job Summary


The Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for building the capability of their team to ensure assets never impact the schedule. The role contributes to planning and is responsible for managing their team to perform machinery and/or building asset care. This will be achieved by deploying the One Aerospace strategy, specifically Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), including standardisation, training, coaching and implementing best practices.


Job Responsibilities

  • Active involvement in problem solving and the management system using a 'Go to Gemba' approach to solve problems.

  • Manage a multi-disciplined team to perform asset maintenance to deliver improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), conversion costs and other F&M specific KPIs in accordance with the site Hoshin Kanri targets to improve.

  • Driving the disciplined and rigorous deployment of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) elements of the Lean Operating Model (LOM), contributing to achieving the expected maturity.

  • Maintaining Regulatory Compliance.


Job Qualifications



  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse facilities and equipment maintenance

  • Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering diciplines; Will consider 8+ years of professional maintenance experience in lieu of degree

  • U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements



Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working with a Lean Operating Model / Production System

  • Lean or Six Sigma certification by a reputable certifying body or benchmark company

  • Equipment/building maintenance experience in the Aerospace industry

  • A passion for the Aerospace industry

  • Detailed knowledge of Maintenance Systems (CMMS)Able to demonstrate competence to undertake key maintenance tasks

  • Excellent performance as a Team member, demonstrating rigorous adherence to standardised work, and a track record of Kaizen implementation

  • Motivated by meeting and exceeding PSQDCC performance targets

  • The demonstrated ability to work with various stakeholders

  • Demonstrated potential to lead, train and develop direct reports

  • An effective communicator and an influential team member

  • Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
