At Centerstone's Research Institute (CRI), we conduct research to prevent and cure mental illness and addiction. We also work to translate research into meaningful clinical practices and implement research-based strategies in real-world settings, thereby reducing the research-to-practice gap. Job Description:

RESEARCH PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

• Participate as an active team member in the planning, implementation and maintenance of grant projects (e.g., provide project management assistance, ongoing information for project improvement and model fidelity, etc.).


• Work closely with other team members and team leader.

DATA COLLECTION, MANAGEMENT, AND ANALYSIS

• Administer evaluation instruments to program participants, and enter data into the appropriate database(s).


• Track participant status in the evaluation (e.g. sampling/follow-up procedures, retention, etc.).


• Ensure that all data are collected and submitted as required by funding agencies (e.g., follow-up percentages met, databases developed, data entered and cleaned within time requirements).


• Competent in the use of personal computers and software in data management, document creation and system maintenance, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Access, R, SPSS, Atlas ti.

WRITING AND DISSEMINATION

• Assist in the creation of evaluation reports for grant funders, as well as for internal program staff.


• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with staff, supervisors and others.


• Skilled in speaking and writing to persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.


• Participation in grant report writing.

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

• Possess organizational skills to maintain records and coordinate other tasks.


• Participate in Research & Evaluation Division initiatives that contribute to the overall success and development of the division and Centerstone as a whole.


• Participate in internal workgroups and/or committees that contribute to the overall success and the division.

OTHER

• Possesses a valid driver's license and willing/able to travel locally


• Quality improvement activities


• Position based in Clarksville, TN (or Nashville TN with 1-2 days commuting to Clarksville TN)
