The Account Executive role is a full-time position with Pensions & Investments, reporting to the Sales Director.This individual will be responsible for all classified advertising sales and will manage client servicing needs for specific accounts.

The Account Executive will also assist with business development projects and lead generation efforts. The role requires a motivated, enthusiastic, detailed oriented individual that enjoys client facing communication and working as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all classified advertising sales, including billing, ad placements and all account services for this business line.


• Generate new classified advertising revenue by prospecting and converting leads to sales.


• Keep accurate and precise records of client communication and opportunities in Salesforce.


• Build strong relationships with clients to fully understand their needs and assist with the evolution of the classified business based on client feedback and gained industry knowledge.


• Assist with preparing client communications such as agency excel files, RFP responses and incoming inquiries regarding advertising opportunities for the digital, print and custom business for specific accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience with a successful track record and an ability to develop targeted prospect databases.


• Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong presentation skills.


• Organized multi-taker with an ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently as well as with a team to service a variety of clients.


• Knowledge of the media/publishing industry.

• Bachelor's Degree


• Availability to work in the New York area

This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
