The CAD Designer/ Drafter will work within the Global Training and Education department to produce/modify models or drawings to be used in Education curricula for Radiation Oncology Equipment and related concepts.

What You'll Do
Create visually engaging 2D and 3D images/drawings
Create accurate 3D models and animations to show functional application of all system components within a large complex medical device.
Creates and modifies designs for special assignments
Extensive solid modeling and drafting using 3D CAD Software (SolidWorks and/or Creo) and/or 3D visual effects applications.
Design mixed reality experiences
Design 360 virtual tours for product demonstrations
Interact with all levels of management, employees, and vendors to accomplish tasks
Use various file management software application.
Requirements
Design, Drafting, or other related Technology-Based (Engineering, Electronics, etc.) Associate from an accredited college or university
3-5-years experience with 3d modeling software working with complex assemblies and creating detailed drawings
Fast pace multitasker
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and written processes
Experience creating and establishing processes for the development and delivery of modeled components
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness and ability learn the fundamentals of new technology
Ability to Monitor work to meet completion dates
Middle Level Solid Model creation
Nice to have
Design, Drafting, or other related Technology-Based (Engineering, Electronics, etc.) Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university
Experience using a Product Data Management (PDM, PLC, etc.) system
3D Animation Experience
Game design and/or game engine Experience
3D Visual Effects Experience
Digital illustration, image editing, and design experiences (CanvasX, Adobe Suite)
Experienced using e-learning software (Articulate, or similar)
Experience with LMS, SCORM, and xAPI knowledge
Experienced using video editing tools (Final Cut, Adobe Suite, Camtasia or similar)
Teaching experience
Technical writing experience.
Instructional design background
