Job Description

  • Drives the overall Consumer and Small Business Deposit product and solutions development plans & strategy, including meeting revenue targets, managing customers, and the evolution of our solutions

  • Maintains and communicates a clear view of the changing market landscape for deposits, including competitive and any regulatory requirements for our clients

  • Lead the development of "best in class" analytics and solutions that enable customers to maximize the profitability and revenues for their deposit portfolios.

  • Coach and develop a team of professionals to meet and exceed specific client project and engagement deliverables

  • Maintain existing client relationships to manage their expectation, and to guide the future product and service enhancements and support.

  • Leads client delivery of DAPS and other deposit analytical solutions, including presentations to senior executives of bank clients.

  • Participates in industry research and publications, enabling Verisk Financial to grow their reputation as an industry thought leader in the deposits and payments space.

  • Collaborates closely with the clients and internal solution subject matter experts to existing solutions and to find solutions to client or potential engagements

  • Lead revenue generation and new sales efforts in collaboration with the marketing and business development team including proposal drafts, marketing collateral, product demos, and budget plans

  • Importantly, this individual will be expected to develop deeper advisory and consultant-based projects to help retail banks and fintechs to address their areas of opportunity and challenge.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of retail banking & deposits experience required

  • Product management experience at a leading national, regional or super-regional bank

  • Proven ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information

  • High degree of data literacy and analytic acumen

  • Proven interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation and writing skills. Should have the ability to present to senior level audiences.

  • Thrives in a highly competitive environment and is not satisfied unless they and their team are winning and exceeding

  • Ability to successfully lead and execute projects; ability to manage and direct a team of experts and to collaborate with other functional areas or teams in the firm towards a successful execution of project deliverables that meets or exceeds client expectations.

  • Ideally this person has broad understanding of disciplines such as pricing, marketing, product-level value drivers (and risks), and compliance/regulatory considerations impacting current business and future growth opportunities
