This is an exciting opportunity to lead digital marketing for TE Connectivity's growing Energy business. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for defining, managing and executing the digital marketing strategy, including account-based marketing, TE.com, SEM (SEO, search, display and social) and email. The role will ensure a best-in-class customer experience and effective digital programs that generate awareness, engagement, leads and ultimately business growth.


The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading digital marketing, driving successful digital campaigns, displaying compelling content and have a keen eye for technical excellence. She/he will be self-directed and able to flawlessly execute on a broad spectrum of digital projects while partnering with multiple stakeholders globally. She/he have experience working in an international, matrixed organization and will be expert at communicating in written, oral and online forms. Fluency in English is required, further languages a plus. This position will report to the Director of Global Marketing and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:


Leveraging a firm understanding of customer-centric approaches to deliver best-in-class digital experiences, the Digital Marketing Manager will lead one digital team member and partner with Integrated Marketing, Segment Marketing and Product Management to provide strategy, execution, and optimization across all digital channels:


  • Create and manage effective integrated - and data driven - marketing campaigns across digital and social channels, including managing day-to-day campaign adjustments to continuously improve targeting and campaign performance.

  • Develop and implement an account-based targeting and marketing strategy.

  • Develop global contact and lead nurture strategies leveraging marketing automation and behavior-based triggers.

  • Own the Energy website pages, defining and executing SEO-rich content, AEM page development, interlinking, page tagging, taxonomy, and more for optimal findability, usability and experience.

  • Talent management and development.

  • Use Adobe Analytics data to identify and fix gaps in content and product data.

  • Define KPIs and regularly report on digital marketing performance, leveraging data from multiple sources (Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, Sprinklr, Google, ...) and providing recommendations for strategic planning, prioritization and budget spend.

  • Manage the global digital marketing budget.

  • Collaborate effectively with inside stakeholders and represent the Energy Business Unit in corporate-wide digital projects.

  • Monitor digital trends and challenge existing approaches to innovate and drive continuous improvement and more personalized customer experiences across channels.

  • Lead and/or support other Energy marketing-related special projects as required, such as the development of language microsites or supporting the digital content needs of global distribution partners.

  • Manage external and internal service providers and agencies.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing or communications
  • 2+ years managing a small team

  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing tools, tactics and trends with demonstrated success leading and managing SEM, marketing database, email, social media, search and display advertising campaigns

  • Experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  • Good knowledge of copy that converts through social, email and website content (titles, CTAs)

  • Proficient in Adobe marketing tools, experience with content publishing, social media posting, targeting and listening (AEM, Adobe Analytics, Sprinklr), SEO/search (SEMrush, Google AdWords), ABM, CRM and Sales and Marketing automation systems (Eloqua, Salesforce.com, Tableau), and proficient in MS Office. Google Ads certification a plus.

  • Experience providing direction to agencies and managing vendor relationships and budgets

  • Working knowledge of product data and taxonomy a plus
