Duties and Responsibilities

-Represents the school at recruitment events across the country, with the aim of attracting an accomplished and diverse applicant pool. Develops relationships with pre-law advisors and participates in off-campus recruitment efforts.

-Reviews application files and communicates with prospective students to encourage application completion.

-Assists with the implementation of a successful recruitment and communication plan to enroll a qualified and diverse incoming class.

-Assists with the development and execution of communications strategies for prospective students. Coordinating the marketing communication sequence.

-Counsels prospective students (in-person, email, and by phone) about the admission process, financial aid, and law school generally.

-Cultivates relationships with external and internal constituents.

-Manages implementation of communication plan for prospective, admitted and deposited students to enroll a qualified incoming class.

-Oversees admission social media accounts and strategies.

-Coordinates with faculty, staff, law students and alumni in participating with various yield events.

-Stays abreast of and ensures compliance with LSAC, ABA, School of Law and University best practices, standards, and policies.

-Provides reporting and updates to support institutional strategy and operational decision making.

-Performs other relevant duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

-Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

-3-5 years of relevant experience in enrollment or admissions.

-Strong oral/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Computer Skills

-Proficient computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook

-Ability to use student information systems and database management system. Familiarity with ACES2, Docfinity Imaging System and People Soft is preferred.
