Description/Job Summary



RHD Bridges is currently looking to hire motivated individuals to work directly with adults with mental health diagnoses in residential settings in the North Hills area. Full and Part time positions are available. Comprehensive and generous benefit plans, as well as paid training, are offered. High School Diploma or GED and valid driver's license are required.



Responsibilities/Duties



Recovery Support Specialists are responsible for the support and enhancement of the quality of life of individuals served by assisting in day to day activities that promote positive outcomes. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing instruction, assistance and role modeling in life accessing community resources, community engagement, and vocational development.



Required Experience



This is an entry level position, but prior experience/education in a social services field, having a history of knowledge of working with adults with significant mental illness, and the knowledge of the impact of trauma on the well-being of the individuals receiving services is preferred but not required.Program specific paid training will be provided.



Required Education



Minimum: High School Diploma/GED.

Required Qualifications




  • Experience preferred but not necessary.

  • Ability to document daily activities and recovery goals and communicate information in a team setting

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Explorer, etc.)

  • High School Diploma or GED and valid driver's license

  • State Police clearance and/or FBI clearance if necessary

  • Completed physical examination.
