Associate Director, Market Development, MDx at Bio-Rad Laboratories in Hercules, California

Job Description:

Serve as Global Associate Director Market Development for Molecular Dx with focus on Reproductive Health and digital droplet PCR applications within current and new, emerging markets. Serve as the key driver for relationship with professional societies and strategies to influence the reproductive health ecosystem. Direct, lead, and manage key relationships with external partners, KOLs, and consortia. Identify key collaborators to drive innovations in novel applications in reproductive health and drive execution with internal cross functional teams. Keen focus on market development activities that lead to product innovation, awareness, and adoption through new users or new use cases.

Responsibilities

• Drive key relationships with professional societies


• Manage KOLs and form consortia focused on Reproductive Health applications and ddPCR


• Identify new market opportunities and novel applications to expand digital PCR for clinical applications


• Assess unmet customer need through qualitative and quantitation market research, customer KOLs and advisory boards, internal subject matter experts, and other direct and indirect forms of customer and market feedback


• Work with cross-functional teams to execute on collaborations focused on novel Reproductive Health applications


• Drive cross-functional work to ensure organizational alignment in support of successful market development programs

Qualifications

• Track record of success and engagement with professional societies


• Demonstrated history of identifying market opportunities and innovations in reproductive health


• Knowledge of clinical/molecular market segments and reproductive health applications


• Demonstrated history of building alignment between cross functional teams within an organization


• Independent and creative problem solver


• Excellent verbal and written communicator both up and down the corporate continuum.


• Leads by example and embraces change


• A minimum of 7 years marketing and market development experience of increasing responsibility. Field sales experience a plus
