The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) is responsible for the accurate completion of compliance testing, government filings, and all year-end reports for client retirement plans. The CRM is responsible for serving clients, financial advisors, and brokers at all levels based on the legacy Goldleaf service model; working with team members to process requests for each client; and mentoring fellow employees. CRM will be evaluated on the ability to meet service and processing goals as defined by management. This position requires defined benefit plan experience.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ensure accuracy of retirement plan administration including plan documents, compliance testing, government filings, distributions, loans, plan eligibility, and vesting

  • Ensure accuracy of data for use in managing plan load and reporting

  • Consultatively communicate with clients and financial advisors

  • Interface with financial fund families

  • Prepare Actuarial Valuations and PBGC Premium Calculations

  • Assist with plan design options

  • Develop technical skills to become a subject matter expert in specified employer services area(s)

  • Be able to execute the above responsibilities for both defined contribution and defined benefit plans

  • Communicate significant issues and exceptions to an appropriate higher level of authority within the organization in a timely manner

  • Prepare PBGC Plan Terminations

  • Project work as needed
