Manage Vallourec University’s Learning Management System (LMS) – Cornerstone across North America
Responsible for the everyday LMS logistical requirements and on the related policies, procedures, and processes, which include also managing, registration and rosters of activity
Responsible in auditing compliance training, monitoring, and editing data
Ensure accuracy in recording and preparing all regional activities in the LMS
Provide and update reports, prepare and develop for the management committee
Evaluate business requirements related in using and configuring LMS applications
Monitor data entry, conduct training and coordinate in LMS application
Lead the workforce development admins and coordinators in the training and support of the LMS system
Lead the bi-weekly LMS admin meetings
Monitors the effectiveness of training programs and continually recommend adjustments as appropriate
Investigate matters and compiles information on behalf of your manager to facilitate action and decisions
Develop, maintain, and reports training metrics associated with the costs, results and performance of training programs, projects, and initiatives
Update curriculum, assist LMS users, troubleshoot issues, while creating and tracking metrics
Recommend future improvements to content management, workflow processes and user experience
Coordinate or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs
Upload and configure e-learning content into learning management system
Collaborate with internal support teams and vendors to develop solutions
Train on use of the system’s self-serve functions
Learning and Development Responsibilities:
Conducts focused educational/training needs assessments within specified targeted adult populations; designs, develops, delivers, and evaluates a range of responsive educational curricula and training programs within defined fields of expertise with an emphasis on multimedia.
Produce multimedia materials as needed including video, audio, visual design, and print materials
Create eLearning and virtual programs for in house training on specified content
Delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas in a specified field
Develops training curricula and/or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives
Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops
Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works
Prepare training locations by ensuring instructors have all the tools, technical equipment and resources needed to effectively teach a course
Creates/Revises e-learning using various software applications
Design and develop SCORM compliant e-learning
Working with subject matter experts to create learning solutions
Creates communication to promote learning and talent management activities through Vallourec University
Participate on special projects as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field from an accredited college/university
Five to seven years’ work experience in a Learning and Development Management corporate environment or equivalent
Strong working knowledge of Cornerstone Learning Management System
Experience designing and developing learning experiences using sound instructional design principles and processes inclusive of the adult learning theory (such as ADDIE and SAM)

Must have strong working knowledge of Cornerstone Learning Management System
Teaching and facilitation skills
Keen understanding of psychology basics, specifically the behavior of adult learners and signs of comprehension
Working knowledge of Articulate Storyline or ISPRING Suite to create eLearning
Combination of creative design skills and technical knowledge; experience with graphic design, video, micro-learning, responsive design, gamification, simulations, animation/motion graphics preferred such as: Articulate 360, ISPRING Suite, Mobile Learning tools, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite products, audio, and video
Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft TEAMS
Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
Have a working knowledge in areas of Learning and Development
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality in handling sensitive, confidential, and proprietary HR information
Excellent project management and organization skills
Ability to work on and complete multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to network with various departmental personnel and outside parties
