JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assists and oversees the contract administration working in conjunction with the Facility Management team in the review and preparation of routine Facility Management contract documents in accordance with corporate policy for a National client account. Also reviews and assists in the development of complex solicitations and prepares specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications, working closely with the Facility Management team. Maintains a data base of all contracts including certificates of insurance ensuring documents are current and in accordance with guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :


  • Point of contact in the review, bid and negotiation of all portfolio contracts.
  • Assists in vendor oversight ensuring services are delivered per contact terms; budgets maintained and KPI developed, measured, and agreed upon.
  • Prepare scope of work, service level agreements; develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and any additional documentation required for contact negotiations.
  • Develop and implement long and short-term strategy in cooperation with leadership to ensure work environment is safe and incidents are managed effectively to reduce risk of revenue loss.
  • Provide oversight /contract administration for record retention services and process.
  • Analyzes significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure and communicates results to subordinates.
  • Develops negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on complex contractual issues.
  • Analyzes new law, regulation, and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
  • Provides authoritative guidance to internal facility team on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity.
  • Assists in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes.
  • Have a general understanding of the business case and an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications.
  • Maintains data base of contracts, certificate of insurance and legal records as applicable, including corporate updates regarding client account.
  • May perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree required; Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) preferred
  • Minimum of 7-9 years of experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to draft contractual instruments in accordance with prescribed templates and guidelines
  • Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
