Clinton has been home to one of our factories since 1969 - a proud producer of Pro Plan®, Purina ONE Beyond®, Purina Veterinary Diets®, Beggin®, T-Bonz® and Whisker Lickins® among other varieties. Although this small Midwestern town is perfect for families, some of our associates choose to live in Davenport, IA - a short commute away from Clinton.

As a Staff Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Manager and play a key role in the capital projects happening within our Clinton facility. Day-to-day, you will manage capital projects from beginning to end, including concept, scope, estimate, cost, resources and funding. The design and implementation process will be core functions of your role - and we will challenge you to do it with integrity, passion, expertise, performance and innovation. As a Staff Engineer, you will be the voice of your larger team as you coordinate cross-functionally with employees and contractors in the successful management and execution of key projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate project scope development
• Development of design/solutions in accordance with engineering safety, production, sanitary, and accounting procedures and specifications
  es as assigned
• Compliance to OSHA, FDA-GMP's, local and national life and fire safety codes
• Preparation of estimates and schedules. Issuance of all documents and drawings for construction on assigned projects/studied
• Evaluate bids, award contracts, and issue purchase orders and provide engineering consulting service to business teams
• Other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related discipline.

Experience: 2 + years of experience in plant engineering or project management within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or military environment.
