JOB DUTIES

The Project Coordination Engineer directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for tasks within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties:

Check all control travels and verify within D-61 until they are acceptable.

Check cockpit configuration, identify and list missing parts that need to be expedited.

Review with mechanics any potential design flaws or areas that may not be reliable, take corrective action.

Review with each Software engineer status and interface with other software and hardware groups/engineers.

Status: All ICDs, malfunction book, lesson plans, visual scenes and aircraft specific information is in IOS.

Assist PM in overall management of program

Point of Contact for onsite installation in lieu of Program Manager

Directs as necessary onsite personnel, ensures personnel are adhering to schedule and performance.

Travel and overtime will be required.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in applicable field or AS plus 4 year's technical experience or 8 years related technical experience and/or training; General knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering as it applies to Flight Simulation is preferred.

General Knowledge of software applications pertaining to flight simulator environments.

Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
