Role and Responsibilities

CAE is hiring experiencedAvionics Technicianswith a General Aviation and Garmin G1000background.

JOB DUTIES:

• All work is inspected and documented IAW Repair Station Manuals and Processes.




• Consultsaircraft maintenance manuals and manufacturers' manuals for specifications to determine the extent of repair or replacement of part(s).




• Read, understand and interpret electronic/electrical and mechanicaldiagrams..




• Troubleshoots to determine malfunctions on aircraft avionics components and electrical systems components, such as airborne navigation/communication systems, autopilot, compass systems and accessories component level.

• Tests and inspects aircraft communications components, navigation components, autopilot, compass systems and accessories to manufacturer and CAE specifications.




• Completes all checklists, forms and reports as required in accordance with the company, and FAA regulations and guidelines.




• Coordinate work with that ofLeads,TechniciansandManufacturer representatives




• Taxi and tug aircraft.




• Adhere to CAE's strong safety policies. This includes wearing proper PPE and reporting safety related incidents.

• Comply with CAE's repair station quality standards. Training will be provided upon hiring.




• Work 4 ten-hour shifts.




• Willing to work overtime upon request.




• Providing pass downs in our work order system at end of shift if aircraft is not being returned to service by you at the end of your shift.




• If there is no avionics maintenance being performed at the time be able to me cross utilized with Maintenance

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-6 years Mechanic experience preferred.




• 2 years' experience in general aviation preferred:

• Strong organizational and communication skills.




• Analytical mindset.




• Able to multi-task and adapt to a changing work environment.

• Pro-active and results oriented. We want your experience to grow the longer you are here.




• Experience with Piper single and multi-engine,and alsoDiamond Aircraftpreferred.




• Must learn to use company's work order system (raining is provided uponhire).
