This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse and Receiving.
Required Skills
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION
Responsible for Inventory control, including product handling and storage/shipment
Act as the warehouse liaison between customer service, transportation, and the Master Scheduler
Manage safety and financial performance of the department
Manage the Warehouse Supervisors (salaried and hourly)
Work with the trucking companies and customer service department to assure superior service and delivery of goods.
Requisition materials and enforce receiving procedures for materials for purchasing history and payment of invoices.
Responsible for Receiving Department, ensuring all trucks are unloaded in a timely manner, and that materials are delivered to the Operations team to maximize efficiencies.
Follow all Food Safety Requirements and GMPs as applicable to position.
Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities.

Required Experience
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
EXPERIENCE: Prefer 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a food processing company, entry level considered. Inventory management experience a plus.
SKILLS: Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Strong computer skills. Knowledge of material handling procedures, inventory accounting, and good manufacturing practices.
ADDITIONAL: Bilingual in Spanish/English required. Must have the ability to make decisions, maintain regular and acceptable attendance, follow directions, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow posted work rules/procedures and to accept constructive criticism.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT
Manages and directs between 90 -140 hourly employees and 5 salaried employees.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to maneuver around an array of equipment, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift 40 pounds. Will have some exposure to fumes and airborne particles. Able to work in a cold environment (35* on Plant floor). (Notification required due to the Americans with Disabilities Act).
WORK HOUR REQUIREMENT
Flexibility to work both a variety of shifts and hours required. Must be available via cell phone during off-hours if needed to assist in problem solving beyond normal business hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel as needed.
