Key Responsibilities

* Oversee item master data using a Cubiscan system to collect and maintain item dimensions and attributes.
* Reconcile any item data variances as discovered in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and outbound dimensional software (Magic Logic).
* Analyze and document incoming inbound and outbound shipments to suggest and develop packaging, paperwork, carton marking, and shipping method improvements.
* Drive continuous improvement around supplier operation gaps of inventory quality from receipt, into storage and through shipping.
* Contribute to the development of tools and processes which make our warehouse team and suppliers more efficient and effective.
* Work with Purchasing, Product, Import, Transportation, and the DC Teams to assist in the reconciliation of receiving errors for incoming shipments at the DC's. This includes, but is not limited to product shortages, defects or damages, product overages, product identification, no open purchase orders, wrong item(s) shipped, wrong ship to location.
* Assist with warehouse receiving and shipping teams on item questions and escalating issues to all necessary areas for real time problem resolution.
* Identify and communicate to Product, Imports, Transportation, and Purchasing, of Suppliers and/or carriers that continually send shipments which do not meet or exceed our requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders as well as establishing and preserving effective relationships with our vendor and supplier community.
* Support Customer Service, Import, Product Management and Sales team inquiries including, but not limited to, product details such as product or packaging weights and measurements, component parts lists or assembly issues.
* Perform random inventory and quality audits to review process compliance.
* Extract system data for analysis using Excel Pivot tables to determine trends uncovering root cause and implement corrective action.
* Conduct periodic review of inventory SKU profiles to make slotting recommendations and determining low-velocity SKU's for pick productivity, dead stock removal, and DC capacity utilization.
* Responsible for having a working knowledge of all distribution center positions and duties.
* Responsible for the development of or assisting with the development of technical training materials, Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Best Method Guides and the maintenance of all technical training and SOPs.
* Possess the ability to use and navigate Radio Frequency (RF) equipment and WM systems.
* Generate reports through various systems for multiple audiences, including Executive team.
* Other tasks as assigned

Competencies and skills

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution/warehouse environment
* Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications; specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experienced in project management and demonstrated success in process improvement
* Must possess outstanding communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* High standard of integrity and reliability; able to build trust & loyalty with others
* Must be able to work in a warehouse environment
* Ability to gain consensus and work with multiple departments simultaneously
* Must possess the ability to identify issues and create solid corrective action plans
