Job Description:

Overview:

The Program Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating activities associated with a specific program or group of programs in a specialty/functional area including scheduling, coordination of communication, data management, document preparation, and process improvement. Works in collaboration with the Program Manager and other program staff to help to implement the program's objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process. Responsible for ensuring effective communication among stakeholders and program staff. Coordinates scheduling of program activities and staff and assists in maintaining data on the program's effectiveness. Coordinates interdepartmental activities ensuring ongoing effective program operation and/or implementation. Responsible for the organization, prioritization and coordination of a moderate to high volume of complex work in support of the program.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 2 years program administrative support or 5 years progressively responsible experience in administration/customer service Required Credentials: - N/A Preferred: - Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field - Experience working in public health, health care or social services - Experience working on process improvement projects
