We are currently seeking an experienced Underwriting Technician/Rater to expedite the underwriting process in our Commercial Lines unit. Duties include the preparation of quotations, issuance of new and renewal policies, amend existing policies, provide technical assistance to the underwriters and assist agents in their efforts to write business.  This is a team environment with all teammates working towards common goals, one of which is to keep FCCI recognized as a Best Place to Work in Florida!  This position can be located at our office in Lake Mary, FL.

Experience

• * Two years of experience in either an agency or insurance company responsible for all lines of commercial insurance.


• * Knowledge of all commercial lines of coverages, rating rules, and procedures.


• * Strong knowledge of various PC applications.


• * Knowledge of insurance terminology.


• * Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.


• * Strong attention to detail.

Education

• High School or better
