MATERIAL HAUL TRUCK DRIVER - DFW at Austin Bridge & Road, LP in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Description:

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Material Haul Drivers for any of the North Texas projects. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us. The material haul driver is responsible for the transportation of materials from the plants to the jobsites. Equipment is 13 speed transmission tractors which all require a valid CDL Class A driver's license unless otherwise noted.

Trailers:


  • Belly dumps

  • Flow boys

  • End dumps

  • Super dumps (valid CDL Class B driver's license)

Responsibilities


  • Perform daily inspections pre and post-trip and report items in need of repair or maintenance

  • Operate vehicle in a safe and controlled manner

  • Create and submit daily driver logs and vehicle inspections electronically

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays, days, nights, and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines

  • Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Minimum 3+ years of experience 

  • Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B driver's license required depending on type of equipment

  • Must have experience driving heavy haul trucks

  • Experience in moving overweight/oversize loads

  • Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety

  • Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
