The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for their assigned territory and will be covering specific Lowe's stores. This role will report into the VP of Sales & Marketing. This TSR will be responsible for stores in and around Albany, NY
The TSR will work independently with the assigned retail (Lowe’s) stores and F&I providers in the assigned territory
The TSR will have a defined market and be responsible for high frequency calling (approx. 20 store visits per week).
Each TSR will be responsible for managing approximately 60 retail Lowe’s store locations
Meets with store and department managers to discuss the success of the program
Travels throughout assigned territory and be available through phone calls and emails as needed
Builds strong relationships within the stores and the F&I providers to insure a successful program for both Lowe’s and Wayne Dalton
Builds relationship with each retail store
Manages the retail store return process
Represent Wayne Dalton brand in a professional manner.
Monitor and recommend display updates as necessary
Participate in Trade and Home shows as needed
Develop a regular store visit cycle within assigned territory to maximize WD exposure with key local and regional Lowe’s team members
Visit approximately 20 stores per week
Drive training and awareness with the Lowe’s team members to be able to accurately sell WD GD’s, both stock and SOS
An enthusiastic, energetic, self-starter with a commanding presence and strong customer relationship building skills.
College degree preferred
Must possess a strong mechanical/technical aptitude and be good with numbers.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and orally, along with the ability to learn presentation skills demonstrating our brand to persons and groups.
An organized individual with good listening skills.
Understands Channel distribution philosophies and able to sell multiple product lines.
Solid time management skills with continuing adherence to efficiencies and productivity.
A positive individual who is extremely professional with high integrity and strong work ethics, with the ability to give and receive respect.
Travel +75% of the time by car and this position will require overnight stays in hotels.
