Catholic Charities of Baltimore is current seeking a Client Services Representative Who provides direct services, guidance, and a wide array of referrals and resources to clients visiting or calling Esperanza Center programs. Maintains a working knowledge of the services offered by Esperanza Center, other Catholic Charities programs, and partner organizations to effectively guide and orient clients who have questions about accessing services.
Schedule:
8 hours on Saturdays, 8:30 or 9:00am start time
Four (4) weekdays from noon to 8:00pm
Core Responsibilities:
Interviews, screens, and refers clients to appropriate programs and/or agencies.
Prepares documents for clients, as appropriate.
Provides professional fingerprinting and background check services to sponsor households who will host unaccompanied immigrant children and youth released from government shelters.
Answers questions regarding services available to immigrants in the Baltimore Metropolitan area.
Provides administrative services to the Family Reunification Specialist (FRS) and serves as back-up for the FRS.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree; or, Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Non-profit, Case Management, or related field.
Proficient in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Basic knowledge of clerical procedures and systems such as managing Outlook calendar, email and recordkeeping.
Ability to utilize, or willingness to learn computer systems and software, necessary to perform position functions (basic computer, web browsing, online training, and email usage skills).
