Position Overview

The Project Engineer applies engineering knowledge toward project planning and management.  This position plans projects from conception to completion, estimating timelines and schedules, anticipating risks and costs, and coordinating project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide reasonable and cost-effective project and electrical estimates


• Develop and maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of applicable codes and regulations


• Evaluate and identify all equipment, materials and other resources required for physical completion of projects


• Develop layout and detail drawings needed for project management

• Intermediate knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.


• Solves a range of straightforward problems


• Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures


• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction


• Serve as a resource to management, supervisors and staff.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree required


• 2-5 years' relevant experience required
