ROLE:
A Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for the overall function of the dining rooms, staff lounge, caf dining area, outstanding service, recruitment, staff development, compliance, evaluations, and sanitation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide outstanding customer serviceMaintain a professional attitudeResponsible for ServSafe and educational complianceAssist with the development and implementation of QAPI with staff involvementOversee the function and sanitation of the dining rooms, staff lounge, Caf dining roomComplete weekly sanitation checklist and takes corrective actionAttend meetings and committees as needed.Schedule staff per budgeted labor hoursHire, train, and develop staffEnsure evaluation deadlines are metTrain new staff on the point of sale systemCoordinate catering events and caf functionEnsure that temperatures of food, freezers, refrigerators and dish machines are documented
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: (education, experience, licenses, training, knowledge, skills, abilities)
High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in managementOne or more years of college education preferred
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift, bend, climb, reach, push and pull as needed; perform duties without limitations
