Job Description:

Chandler Hall, a Quaker facility and Kendal affiliate, provides high-quality care for older adults in Newtown, Bucks County. Chandler Hall offers a wide spectrum of services for individuals at all stages of the aging process including: Community Living, Personal Care, Residential Hospice, Home Hospice, Independent Living, Respite Care, and Skilled Nursing Care. We are always seeking individuals with a passion for working with the older population.

Part time opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support. 25 hours per week.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Filing paperwork

  • Prepare new hire files

  • collate new hire orientation materials and benefit packets

  • Conduct all background checks and clearances required

  • Enters new hire information in Pa New Hire reporting system

  • Ensure all new hires are in compliance with departmental regulations and requirements

  • Schedules drug tests

  • Prepares employee health files and ensures all needed documentation is complete

  • Complete employment verifications

  • Audit files and gathers information needed for mock surveys and state surveys

  • Assists in posting employment ads on job boards; refreshes on a weekly basis

  • Assists with screening applications and sends to hiring managers

  • Assists with employee events, benefit open enrollment and job fairs

  • Corresponds with applicants not selected 

  • Completes mailings for required benefit notices

  • Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma required; Some College or Degree preferred

Experience working in Human Resources strongly preferred. 

2-5 years of administrative experience

Strong attention to detail ; excellent organizational skills;  high level of confidentiality. 

MS Office skills needs

Experience with a HRMS system preferred
